After my son was diagnosed with autism, I had him enrolled in an early intervention program and that’s when I was referred to Kate. My son was non-verbal at the time and she helped us by working with Carson on his expressive language skills. The skills that he learned from her are used everyday and were the stepping stones to what he is learning now. One thing I liked was how she picked up on my son’s cues and knew if he needed a break, but also gave appropriate reinforcement and encouragement when he did well. She was always on time to appointments and was easy to communicate with. We always looked forward to our weekly visit from Kate and I would recommend her to anyone who is in need of a great speech pathologist.      --Katie W.
